The West Viriginia Division of Personnel is the central referral source for over 20 state agencies and over 20,000 state jobs in the state merit system. The application process can be completed in 3 easy steps:
- Review the Job Announcements - the job opportunities page contains links to all the current job announcements. Read carefully, as the job announcement will contain any specific instructions on completing the application and any examination requirements.
- Complete the Application Form - most state jobs will allow you to apply online. If you need to apply with the paper form, you may apply for more than one job title with a single application.
- Submit Your Application - If a written test is required, take your completed application to a test center on the day of the test. If you apply online, you do not need to take your completed applicaton to the test center.
